Its all the rage with 12-17 year olds in Costa Mesa, apparently.
To my suprise Costa Mesa is a booming pre-teen, tween and teenage fixed gear community. You can find them (as if like a gang that's raging against society's status quo) in the parking lot of the local Del Taco smokin' sigs and poppin' wheelies w/ bar spins. I know, I almost ran them over (because Del Taco's chicken soft taco's are a gift from above). I thought fixed gear was something that cool older dudes did that were on some shit that no one else was doing (not you Jay). But now the little O.C. rich kids are diggin' it. Rad. What's next, kids start skateboarding? Lame. What anti-sport will we have left to lean on when it all come crumbling down? I'm NOT jumping on the whole extreme pogo-stick thing (no pun intended).
For the record, I have only ridden my bike once. So what am I complaining about. I'm no fixie rider. So shut your mouth up.
